Chateau Batailley Pauillac (Grand Cru Classe) ’12

It is one of the oldest estates in the Médoc. The name is derived from the battle (bataille) – that took place where the chateau and vineyard are today – during the 100-years war in the in 1452.Everything is there in spades: body, texture and fruit concentration. Very ripe Cabernet Sauvignon dominates, with beautifully ripe tannins, cassis and a spicy edge.
